Poetry, Persian manuscript on cream and coloured paper, 226ff. as numbered plus one fly-leaf, each folio with 15ll. of black nasta'liq script arranged in two columns, with black-ruled gold intercolumnar divisions, most folios with cartouches, text within black, blue and gold frame, catchwords, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece with extensive marginal repair, colophon signed and dated, with later added notes and seal impressions, in early 17th century brown morocco binding with stamped medallions with deer and foliage, the doublures with découpé medallions
