With straight single-edged blade curving downward inscribed al Fattah (the opener) in a medallion, the forte and ricasso gold-damascened with densely foliated half-palmettes and the spine with scrolling tendrils, the grips possibly of giraffe bone panels applied with studs in the form of rosettes, very good condition
