INDIA, 19TH CENTURY
With long straight single-edged blade, the ricasso and open-work spine with gold-damascened foliate tendrils and floral quatrefoils, the open-work slit fitted with steel pellets, the horn panels fitted to the steel tang with studs decorated as floral motifs flanking an inscription within a quatrefoil on either panel, the steel-cut button in the form of a palmette, very good condition
