The first, a large baluster jar, painted with four quatrefoil cartouches depicting a bird on a tree peony branch alternating with butterflies in flight above hydrangea, all reserved on a prunus-head and blue cracked-ice-pattern ground; and a rouleau vase painted with boldly scrolling stylised lotus and foliage
