Of pale grey tint, with tapering conical bowl above a hollow stem moulded with alternating lions' masks and flowerheads above swags between two bands of gadroons, flanked by mereses, on a folded conical foot

For a goblet with identically moulded knop, attributed to Hall or Innsbruck, see Anna-Elisabeth Theuerkauff-Liederwald, Venezianische Glas der Veste Coburg, Lingen, 1994, pp. 244-245, no. 222. A latticinio flute with a similarly moulded knop was sold in these Rooms, on 28 March 2000, lot 180.
