With flared conical bowl on a hollow compressed knop moulded with diamond latticework pattern, enriched in gilding, on a raised spreading domed foot and folded footrim, slight flaking to gilding, minor scratching to bowl

For a closely related goblet attributed to Hall-in-Tyrol or France see Dwight P. Lanmon and David B. Whitehouse, Glass in the Robert Lehman Collection, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, 1993, p. 127, no. 45. A further example also attributed to Hall-in-Tyrol or France is illustrated by Anna-Elisabeth Theuerkauff-Liederwald, Venezianisches Glas der Veste Coburg, Lingen, 1994, pp. 208, no. 185. A similar goblet with moulded knop and bowl is in the collection of the Germanische Nationalmuseum, Nuremberg, see Lanmon and Whitehouse, ibid., p. 128 fig. 45.1; and another from the Mühleib Collection was sold at Bonham's, London, 2 May 2013, lot 8.
