Of slender tapering form, engraved with a continuous maritime scene of a figure emblematic of Fortune standing on a globe holding a billowing banner before a ship under sail, with pendant swags suspended from the waves, above the monogram CFM and the date 1662, on a hollow inverted baluster stem with later metal repair, on a spreading folded foot, repaired through stem, short crack to knop beside metal mount
