A ghazal of Amir Shahi of Sabzevar, Persian manuscript on paper, with 6-9ll. of elegant black nasta'liq divided into two columns with gold intercolumnar rule, both folios decorated with small birds painted on a ground of floral sparys, the text panels laid down between wide polychrome rules on wide peach coloured margin with gold rules

The colourful illustrations of birds that adorn these pages are very similar to those found on an album attributed to Muhammad Mu'min and with a library inscription dated AH 1031/1621-22 AD, which sold in these Rooms, 12 October 2004, lot 112.
