ATTRIBUTED TO REZA QULI SHAMLU, SAFAVID IRAN, 17TH CENTURY
Ink with coloured wash on paper, a turbanned Shaykh observes his young students, around them a rocky landscape with a curved windswept tree and cusped clouds, attribution in black ink on the left, laid down on later gold and polychrome illuminated floral margins, traces of two seal impressions
