Opaque pigments and gold on paper, two ladies head to do puja, stand between a peacock and a peahen, a silver lotus pond in the foreground a domed marble shrine on the hilltop behind, laid down on cream card with gold floral lattice margins and gilt floral pink borders, a small inscription in black nasta'liq script reading "qalam gujarat" (?)
Painting 8 x 4½in. (20.5 x 11.5cm.); folio 17¾ x 11¾in. (45 x 27.5cm.)
