PROBABLY KARIMNAGAR, DECCAN, INDIA, CIRCA MID-18TH CENTURY

The decoration of this box, using bands of finely worked 'comma-shaped' motifs, is close to pieces produced in Karimnagar, Deccan, through the 18th century.
