The famous mystical poetry of Rumi, Persian manuscript on paper, 295ff. plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 25ll. of black nasta'liq script arranged in four columns between double black-ruled gold intercolumnar divisions, titles in red nasta'liq script, text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, with catchwords, the opening bifolios of each six sections with finely illuminated headpiece and gold and polychrome floral margins, in restored lacquered binding
