Arabic manuscript on paper, 264ff. plus four fly-leaves, each folio with 14ll. of black naskh script arranged between Persian interlinear translation in red nasta'liq script and double black-ruled gold lines, with gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in larger red thuluth script within simple cartouche, the text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, with catchwords and marginal markers, occasional marginal comments, opening bifolio heavily illuminated, preceded with two finely illuminated bifolia of tables and prayers, two further illuminated bifolia throughout the text, in Qajar floral lacquer binding
