Arabic manuscript on paper, 726ff. plus three fly-leaves, each folio with 9ll. of black naskh script, with gold roundel verse markers outlined in black, some sura headings in blue muhaqqaq on gold ground within cartouche, others in gold, or in red, followed by lines of red naskh script giving the number of verses, words, and letters in each sura, text within gold and polychrome rules, each opening folio from a juz' with illuminated headpiece and text in cloud on red cross-hatched ground, opening bifolium, opening of juz' X, half Qur'an bifolium and final bifolium with illuminated margins, the margins with gold thuluth script juz' markers, red and black naskh script section markers, some marginal floral medallions, with catchwords, staining, opening bifolium with later restorations and illumination, in gilt stamped red morocco binding
