Lot Essay

The inscription reads ya hadrat Bilal al-Habashi radiya Allah 'anhu ("O Hilal al-Habashi may God be pleased with him"). Bilal al-Habashi was one of the first companions of the Prophet and the first mu'ezzin of Islam.
