The Book of Kings, in two volumes, Persian manuscript on paper, 582ff. (combined), each folio with 25ll. of black nasta'liq script arranged in four columns between black-ruled gold double divisions, text within blue, black and gold rules, titles in red within cartouches, each volume with a gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, with catchwords, with thirty-nine illustrations (as numbered), some probably 18th century, colophons signed, one with obscure date of 7 Shawal, old repairs and occasional added notes, each volume in brown morocco binding

The colophon of volume I gives a name which could read as Farid Ya'qub (or Ya'qut) Whaliuri (?). Although the nisba is very unclear, it could be a deformation of the city of Gwalior's name in Persian: Qaliur.
