Hoc in libro nunquam ante typis aeneis in lucem edita haec insunt [Tetrabiblos] Libri Quatuor Composti Syro Fratri. Nuremberg: Ioannem Petreium, 1535. 3 parts in one volume 4° (210 x 151mm). Greek and Latin text, a woodcut diagram and woodcut initials. (Some soiling and staining heavier at beginning and end.) FIRST EDITIONS of the original greek texts of Tetrabiblos, issued together with Joachim Camerarius's Latin translation of the first two books. This is Ptolemy's work on astrology, written to complement his astronomical treatise, the Almagest; 'as the latter enables one to predict the positions of the heavenly bodies, so the former expounds the theory of their influences on terrestrial things'.
