A KASHAN LUSTRE POTTERY RECTANGULAR TRAY
IRAN, LATE 12TH/EARLY 13TH CENTURY
On two plain feet, each reinforced with a bracket and supporting the rectangular box with slightly protruding base, the walls moulded with unidentifed figures, the lustre-painted decoration with bands of chasing felines and hares reserved against the white ground, the interior with fine foliage and bands of pseudo-kufic script, the two small sides restored, otherwise in good condition
