A pier table with a similar radially veneered satinwood and scalloped burr yew banding by John Wisdom of Dublin, circa 1790, was supplied to Thomas Cobbe for Newbridge House, County Dublin (The Knight of Glin and J. Peill, Irish Furniture, London, 2007, p.167, pl. 228.).

A closely related card table was sold, The Barratt Collection - From Crowe Hall, Bath, Christie's London, 16 December 2010, lot 186.
