The complete set of 19 drypoints, 1914-19, on Japan paper, fine impressions printing with much burr, all signed in pencil, some titled and dated, with the original text volume with title, text by Julius Meier-Graefe in German, list of plates, and justification, copy number XXI, from the edition of forty on this paper and before the steel-facing of the plates (there was also an edition of sixty on laid paper after steel-facing), published by Reinhard Piper, Munich, 1919, for the Marées-Gesellschaft, with their blindstamp, the full sheets, with deckle edges, all hinged within their original paper mounts, in very good condition, all within the original quarter vellum and purple patterned card folder with the name of the artist and title on spine (portfolio)
