Tasting note: By 2003 a distinct yellow gold; bouquet of honey and apricots elevated by fairly high volatile acidity; sweet, full, rich despite a touch of leanness, excellent flavour and acidity. Most recently, well-nigh perfect bottles, developing an amber tinge, Tokay-like bottle age; fairly sweet, intensely rich, glorious flavour. Last tasted Nov 2005. At best ***** Beginning to show its age but sill superb M.B.
