A Minton majolica oyster-stand
four tiered, each tier with bowls formed as oyster shells divided by seaweed on a lobed circular base moulded with seaweed above spiral fluted, the finial formed as three fish and an eel, with metal mechanism, shape 636, impressed marks and date code for 1872 -- 10½in. (26.7cm.) high, 19th century (one bowl on top tier broken and restored)
