and covers with squat bodies and tall necks above pedestal bases, painted with scenes of women and childern in classical dress disporting themselves in gardens and to the reverse with ribbon-tied bouquets reserved against a blue-de-roi ground enriched with coloured 'jewels' and gilt, with gilt-metal mounts, foliate handles and plinths -- 12¾in. (32.4cm.) high, circa 1900 (covers restored, some 'jewels' lacking)
