TWO YELLOW GLASS BALUSTER VASES
19TH CENTURY
Each vase is carved around the body with two taotie masks between a band of kui dragons around the shoulder and upright lappets around the foot, below a band of leaves in the form of ruyi-heads around the waisted neck. The glass is of an opaque egg-yolk yellow tone.
