A TRANSLUCENT REDDISH-PINK GLASS VASE
19TH CENTURY
The vase is of pear shape supported by a spreading foot and the flaring neck is flanked by two elephant-head and fixed-ring handles. One side is carved with a crane amongst lotus and the other with another crane amidst crashing waves below the sun. The glass is of an attractive pinkish-red tone.
