the clock case of scroll outline, pierced and moulded with foliage, enriched in pink, blue and gilt, gilt with panels of scrolling foliage, applied with flowers, gilt metal and enamel dial by Henri Marc, Paris -- 12¼in. (31cm.) high; and an oval two-handled bowl, the handles and rim moulded with fruiting vines, the bowl painted with a spray of flowers above grasses, the reverse with a lesser spray, the lower section applied with leaves above a rocky moulded mound applied with two modesl of quails by a nest of hatching eggs -- 9½in.
