A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF A SEATED BODHISATTVA
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The deity is finely cast seated on a double-lotus pedestal in the 'Royal ease' position. The body is delicately adorned with intricate jewellery. including a beaded necklace, armlets and anklets. The face has a serene expression and the hair is arranged into a high chignon and adorned with further beaded jewellery.
