A RED GLASS VASE
QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The vessel is modelled with a bulbous body rising to a waisted neck and a flaring mouth rim, supported on a short foot. The exterior of the body is decorated with a scene of warriors in battle, amidst tall pine trees. The semi-translucent glass is of an even deep red tone throughout.
6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high
