A BLUE AND WHITE 'PHOENIX-TAIL' VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
With bulbous body and flaring neck, the exterior is painted with eight lotus-shaped panels, each depicting one of the Eight Immortals holding their various attributes in fenced garden scenes. The panels are all reserved on a lozenge diaper ground.
