QING DYNASTY, CIRCA 1800
The cover is embroidered with a white circular patterned ground and worked with four side-facing and a central front-facing dragon in couched gilt thread amongst cloud scrolls, all chasing flaming pearls. There is a border of crashing waves and rocks, one of which has an emblem beneath it.
