A HUANGHUALI SQUARE TABLE
LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The table has a flat top with a straight edge above shaped aprons carved with a pair of stylised sinuous dragons. There are narrow stretchers linking the four square-section legs that terminate in neat hoof feet.
