A CARVED IVORY FIGURE OF A FEMALE ATTENDANT AND CHILD
18TH CENTURY
The woman is depicted seated on a rocky pedestal, with one hand supporting the child in her lap and the other hand raised, holding a cup to the boy's lips. She has a gentle expression on her face, with elaborately styled hair and is wearing robes finely detailed with floral sprays on a dense diaper ground.
