A FINELY CARVED PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE BOULDER
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The boulder is of irregular shape, finely carved on one side with two deer on a rocky outcrop beneath pine and wutong trees and amidst clusters of lingzhi. The reverse is similarly carved with two cranes beneath scrolling clouds amidst pine and lingzhi. The stone is of pale green colour retaining some russet skin.
