A PALE CELADON JADE 'DOUBLE-GOOSE' CARVING
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The two geese are finely carved standing on a rocky outcrop with their heads turned towards each other, both grasping a long leafy stem of millet in their beaks. The stone is of a pale tone with some cloudy areas and russet inclusions.
