A 'CHICKEN-BONE' JADE TWIN-HANDLED CUP
18TH CENTURY
The cup is carved with deep rounded sides rising from a short spreading foot, and the exterior is decorated with continuous bands of stylised clouds below a key-fret border along the mouth rim. The two handles are carved with clusters of ruyi-heads. The opaque mottled stone is of attractive creamy white, beige, and greyish-black tones.
