A CARVED BAMBOO HANGING EWER
QIANLONG INCISED AND GILT YUWAN FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Of flattened faceted form, the ewer is carved with a stylised dragon-head spout to one side and an elegantly curled 'C'-shape handle to the other. The neck and the lower body are decorated with narrow keyfret and geometric bands, and the shoulder has loop handles connected to a carved linked chain attached at the top to a double-headed phoenix-head handle.
The ewer 6.1/8 in. (15.5 cm.) high
