A Vienna-style cylindrical portrait cup and saucer
painted by Wagner with a quater-length portrait of Ruth within and oval gilt seeded panel reserved with raised flowerheads, on a copper-lustre ground gilt with two broad bands bewteen panels of flowers and scrolling foliage, with a richly gilt bamboo handle, the saucer gilt with a flowerhead to the centre within bands of flowers and leaves, the rim gilt with panels of vases issuing flowers and scrolling foliage, signed, titled to base of cup, overglaze blue beehive marks, various painted, impressed and erased marks, early 20th century (very slight wear to gilt)
