the case of rococo-scroll outline and set on four scrolling feet, with pierced sections to each side and a bouquet finial, elsewhere applied with flowers and foliage, the enamel dial fronting a circular brass movement striking on a bell, with a rectangular-section porcelain stand similarly decorated and painted with scattered flower-sprays and insects, both pieces enriched in colours and gilt, blue crossed swords marks and incised marks -- 20in.
