Lot Essay

With Rolex original fitted green presentation box.

The present Rolex chronograph, a reference 6034, is endowed with a beautiful original dial with clear writing and scales. Always a delight to look at, this sporty watch will bring flair to the wearer's wrist.

Two-body case reference 6034 was introduced to the market in the early 1950s; the majority was cased in stainless steel or 18K gold, a small series in 14K gold.

Different versions of the model are described and illustrated in I Cronografi Rolex - La Leggenda, Pucci Papaleo Editore, pp. 230-251 and in 100 Superlative Rolex watches by John Goldberger, pp. 114-117.
