The circular top painted to the centre with a view of Tellskapelle, the border with painted panels depicted as the twenty-two cantons of Switzerland and carved throughout with oak leaves and acorns, on scrolling acanthus-carved legs

This table was included in the Great Exhibition of 1851 in Hyde Park. Described in the catalogue as 'a table in white wood, representing a view of the chapel of William Tell, and the different costumes of the twenty-two cantons'
