A PALE GREY JADE OPENWORK 'DRAGON AND CLOUD' FINIAL
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
It is carved in openwork with a horned dragon and a chilong emerging through a swirling mass of clouds that rise from a base of rocks and waves. The stone is of a pale grey tone with russet, cloudy white and darker grey inclusions and veins.
