FOUR CARVED AND PIERCED JADE SEALS
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) AND LATER
The first is a square seal surmounted by a tortoise. The seal face reads Bi Langwen yin that may be translated as 'Seal of Bi Langwen'. The stone is pale grey and black in tone. The second is a rectangular seal surmounted by a horse. The seal face has two stylised indistinct characters. The stone is pale celadon and dark grey in tone. There are two further seals with uncarved faces surmounted by Buddhist lions.
