FOUR JADE AND ONE LAPIS LAZULI 'DRAGON' BELTHOOKS
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) AND LATER
The first is carved and pierced with a dragon-head terminal, the shaft surmounted by a sinuous chilong. The stone is pale celadon in tone. The second is similarly carved. The stone is mottled pale grey in tone. The third is carved with a plain shaft and dragon-head terminal. The stone is pale grey and buff in tone with veins. The fourth is of a pale celadon tone. The fifth is a lapis lazuli belthook with dragon-head terminal.
The longest 3.7/8 in. (9.6 cm.)
