A PAIR OF JADEITE FLATTENED BALUSTER VASES AND COVERS
Each is carved with a pair of confronting phoenix to either side, below a coiling chilong on the shoulder. The waisted necks are carved with a pair of elephant-head handles with suspended rings. The domed covers are surmounted by a phoenix holding a flower-branch in its beak. The stone is of a light green tone with apple green inclusions.
