A PAIR OF EMBROIDERED 'GOLDEN PHEASANT' RANK BADGES, BUZI
LATE 19TH/ EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each is made for a civil official of the second rank. They are embroidered in counted stitch with a golden pheasant facing the sun as it alights from a rock amidst foaming waves and cloud scrolls. Each is framed within a meandering border.
