LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each is made for a civil official of the sixth rank. The bird has painted details and is shown facing the sun as it alights on a rock amongst foaming waves. Each is reserved on a gold ground embellished with blue clouds and auspicious symbols. Each with label Christian-Thornette and 85.
