A MING-STYLE BLUE AND WHITE BOTTLE VASE
DAOGUANG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
The bulbous lower section is painted with a broad band of flower-heads and foliate scrolls, above a band of lappets and classical scroll at the foot. The shoulder is decorated with a further foliate scroll above a ruyi band. The neck is embellished with stiff upright leaves with a keyfret and a wave band at the flared mouth.
