INCISED HU WENMING FOUR-CHARACTER MARK, 17TH CENTURY
The body is applied with dragon-headed loop handles suspending flanges, the central band is cast with stylised lotus flowers and leaves, between a band at the rim decorated with the 'Eight Buddhist Emblems', bajixiang, and a flower scroll at the foot.
