A GILT-SPLASH BRONZE CENSER AND COVER
18TH/ 19TH CENTURY
The oval censer is raised on an oval foot and the flat openwork cover is modelled with bamboo and surmounted with a bamboo sprig finial. The body, base and cover are covered in gilt splashes and the base is cast with a raised apocryphal Xuande six-character mark in a sunken rectangular panel.
