A FAMILLE ROSE BOWL AND COVER AND AN INGOT-SHAPED DISH
EACH WITH IRON-RED JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The bowl is painted with bands of flower heads amidst stylised foliage, between a band of ruyi heads at the rim and stiff leaves at the foot. The domed cover is similarly decorated. The ingot-shaped dish is decorated to the interior and exterior with bats, double happiness characters and a central shou character, all on a ground of flower heads and scrolling branches.
The bowl 3.5/8 in. (9.1 cm.) diam.; the dish 5.7/8 in. (14.9 cm.) wide
